Brian Peters joined HutsonWood in August of 2024 as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). Brian has been in Healthcare IT for over 30 years with experiences as CIO at St. Vincent Hospital part of Ascension Health and a large Level 1 Center Trauma Hospital, CarDon & Associates, a Long Term Care organization as well as COO for MatrixCare, an EHR software solution built for home- and long-term care providers. Brian has and continues to focus on Technology Efficiency and working with Physicians, Nurses, and other healthcare teams to provide efficient and effective care. Brian has also focused on Technology Integration, where the EHR is integrated with Medical Devices and other Systems to provide real time information for real time decisions. In today’s environment, where we have Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) all around us, Brian is actively helping HutsonWood to strategically utilize A.I. to benefit our team members as well as residents and their families.
